Corrosion Gone is quick and easy to use. Here is how:

1.  Scrape off any large chunks of battery leakage with a wooden toothpick.

2. Apply with cotton swab and gently polish battery contacts until they shine.

3. Rinse cleaned contacts with cotton swab.

 

Helpful Hints

When cotton swabs becomes dirty replace as necessary.

Be careful to not polish too aggressively as this may damage the battery contacts.

When cleaning digital cameras battery compartments , check for corrosion build-up in battery door switch.
